Description: Creed II follows a familiar, rousing, and in the end reflective narrative arc for followers of the Rocky films. Images of the deceased father Apollo Creed are everywhere, along with the return of Ivan Drago, the Russian boxer who felled him, their wives, both of their sons, Rocky himself, and the quest to avenge past harms done to fathers. The sons are meant to battle for such vengeance in the ring, twice. But what everyone finds in the ends, after victory and loss, is a feeling akin to quiet, inner redemption, the settled-for peace of fathers finally deciding to live with (rather than for) the families they have before them. Worthy viewing, especially in Dolby.
