Description: Taking up a cherished tradition at the The Unterberg Poetry Center, Tyehimba Jess will curate and join in a series of poetry readings, then an ensemble musical translation of poetry, by selected peers in the art and profession. The first readings will be by LaTasha N Nevada Diggs, Douglas Kearney, and Tracie Morris. Jess himself will provide the last poetry reading, before having the evening segue to a musical performance of his work by Olithea Anglin, Meredith Wright, Melanie Dyer, Janice Lowe, and Yohann Potico.
